What Things to Prepare Before Interview?

The job seeker usually organize all the credentials such as the curruculum vitae (CV), transcript of records (TOR), school diploma, board cerificates (if any), training certificates, pictures (whole body, 2×2 or passport size), and sometimes the employer will look for the birth certificate, and identification cards. All documents which the employer or interviewer might ask you are all prepared and placed inside your briefcase or portfolio. Aside from these, you also need to prepare at least three sets of business attire.

Why do I say three sets? Sometimes the employer will have to ask you for a series of interview. First you need to pass the level 1 interview from the HR department and after which the level 2 interview from the Manager’s Office, which is done on separate days. If you are on a tight budget, you may not go for custom dress shirts or skirts as this is more expensive than ready-to-wear clothes. Going shopping at a local dress shop or in a cheap store for your dress shirts are good ideas; just buy only three sets of these. It is quite hard to look for mens dress shirts as the most number of clothes that you can see in cheap stores and boutiques are casual wears. Just be patient.

Your goal should be to win the job. Once you have your first or second salary at hand, shop for a dress or better go for a custom dress shirts or skirts. The garments that they use and the quality of craftsmanship is far better than the cheap ready-to-wear clothes. A good set of clothes should also be paired to a brand-new-looking and shiny black leather shoes, and belt. Remember to polish the shoes and belt before going to the interview or work, it is advisable that you do this a night before to avoid cramming.
