Before looking around for discount auto insurance in Texas, keep in mind that the state of Texas mandates that anyone driving a motor vehicle must have a minimum amount of liability coverage prior to driving down the road. Ironically, as a result, many drivers throughout the state of Texas do not have auto insurance.
