Driver ejected, crushed by pickup truck

The driver of a pickup truck that rammed into the back of another car in west Harris County early Sunday died after he was ejected from the rolling vehicle and then crushed by it, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The passenger, who was wearing a seat belt and remained in the truck, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with serious injuries to the right side of this body.

Catches have been scattered, despite calm conditions.

Trout have been holding at the mouths of bayous on the falling tide.

Duck movement was early with the bright moon, but scouted ponds took limits of teal, pintails and gadwalls.

Seas in deeper water will be 3-5 feet today, building 4-6 feet tonight, and building 5-8 feet Monday.

Patchy fog this morning and again by late tonight.

Skies then mostly cloudy to cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday.
