69-year-old man missing since New Year’s Day found safe

A 69-year-old Harris County man who had been missing since New Year’s Day has been found safe and unharmed, officials said Friday.
John Leroy Shaw was last seen by family members in the 5700 block of W. Mount Houston about 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the Houston Police Department found him unhurt Friday morning. They did not release details about where Shaw was found or where he had been since he was reported missing.
Shaw reportedly has Alzheimer’s.

Deported Texas teen is returning today

Police search for suspect in rape of Humble leasing agent

Humble police are searching for a man with the words “No Love” tattooed on his neck who allegedly sexually assaulted a property manager at an apartment complex Thursday while she was showing him a unit he could rent.

The woman was temporarily working in place of the complex’s manager and took the man, who appeared to be prospective tenant, to see a unit, said Lt. Quinton Sammon of the Humble Police Department.

Sammon said the alleged sexual assault occurred in a vacant apartment.
